Every Torcal is connected to the internet, subject to the mobile data service available in your region. This means that not only can phones and other devices connect to the internet using the car's built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, but a wide range of connected services are available, from over-the-air navigation system map updates to alerts if the alarm is activated or your car moves from its parking space.

The Plug and Charge feature* takes care of the authentication of your car at a charging station, from the moment you plug the cable in. This means that, not only can charging start immediately, but your payment can be made automatically too, so you can be back on the road in no time. This service is subject to a valid charging contract being in place.

In addition to Bentley's adaptive cruise control system, the optional Touring Assist package includes a variety of advanced driver assistance Systems (ADAS), allowing you to drive hands-free on select highways*. On select routes, the package allows you to remove your hands from the wheel completely and as long as you keep your eyes on the road, it will control throttle and steering inputs for you. It can also help you pass and change lanes, once you have indicated, by scanning for an appropriate gap in the traffic and then braking, accelerating and steering the car as required.

*Hands-free driving is only available on certain highways. Not available in all states and territories. Weather, traffic, road conditions, availability of high definition map data and other factors may affect performance. Drivers must always pay attention to vehicle alerts, warnings, road condition, road objects, other drivers, pedestrians and take corrective action if required. Failure to pay attention and use proper care may result in injury, death or damage to property. Hands-free driving cannot be used while wearing infrared-blocking sunglasses. Hands-free driving only works within system limits, and is a driver assistance feature, not a substitute for attentive driving. The driver remains responsible for driving the vehicle at all times. Due to changing road conditions, structure, and other measures, the available hands-free road network may change over time. This can result in the reduction or expansion of routes where hands-free driving is available, which may be permanent or temporary. The road network is updated at regular intervals. Requires connection to and continued availability of 4G LTE or 5G cellular connectivity, network-compatible hardware, and vehicle GPS signal, which are outside of Bentley's control. The Park Assist* function can identify a suitable parking space, then take control of the steering, pedals and gears while it parks your Torcal. And for occasions when the space is so tight that it would be hard to get in or out of the vehicle once parked, you can use Remote Park Assist*, accessed via the My Bentley smartphone app. Simply step out of the car before it parks and tap the button in the app that activates remote parking. Then hold the button down until your Torcal has safely parked itself. Your car will stop moving straight away if you stop holding the button for any reason. When you return to your car, you can also use the system to drive it out of the parking space, so you can comfortably get back in.

In addition to parking in spaces on the street and in car parks, your Torcal can record the route into and out of your garage, so that once you are home, it can complete the manoeuvre without any need for you to touch the steering wheel, accelerator or brake pedal.*

Whenever you drive at low speeds, the Reversing Assist feature will store in its memory the last 50 metres you drove, so that if you need to reverse out again, it can manage the steering for you, avoiding scrapes or collisions.

In addition to parking your Torcal, you can use the My Bentley app* to remotely check the status of your locks, lights, mileage, charging status and range. You can remotely pre-heat or pre-cool the cabin with My Cabin Comfort, or heat individual seats, armrests and the steering wheel. You can also defrost the windows before your journey begins and, if you opt to add electrically powered doors, open any door with a tap on your phone.
